  • What tool for TFI screws?

I'm trying to change my TFI in my parking lot without removing the dizzy. I can't see the screws in the TFI to tell what tool works. I've spent about 45 minutes trying different screwdrivers, hex wrenches adn sockets so I'm just asking what the heck do I need.

What tool removes the screws in the TFI?

    thanks.

    The Tool

Most auto parts stores sell the tool that you need. I don't know how to describe it but I will try, it has a black handle about 1.5" in diamator, it has a sliver shank that slides in to the two holes on the module. I have had no luck with other tools so the best thing I did was spend 5 bucks on the right tool for the job.
    GOOD LUCK

Well, damn. It's a *special* tool. Off to NAPA.

        Tool

I bought this special TFI tool at my local Pep Boys. It was on a red and white card if my foggy memory serves me. One end of the tool is a 7/32" thinwall socket the other end is a T20 torx. I have only used the 7/32" end.
