Premium switch light "cutting out"

My premium switch light "cuts out" after a few minutes of operation. I have a gillis valve and the switch is always set on. To complicate things, I had my eec iv rebuilt a couple of months ago.

Is there any way to check if it still works when the light cuts out? Is there any way to hardwire it to premium?

Or do I just have a flakey bulb?

Swap the wires on your fog light switch with the premium switch and see if the problem follows.
