    bypass valve

you'll want to use a bypass valve instead of a blow off valve. The bypass vents back into the engine's incoming airflow, while the blow off vents into the atmoshpere. Blow offs don't work well on our cars.

Tiny Avenger makes a complete pre fabricated bypass valve kit. It does require that you drill/tap a hole in the intercooler....so, I suggest you find a spare one in case you ever want to put it back stock. It's a really well thought out kit.

Yep. I have one, and it works great. It allows the turbo to stay spooled up more between shifts. Get a spare intercooler, and make it happen. It is a great mod. It also increases the life span of the turbo, by eliminating the turbo surge between shifts, etc.

        HKS Blow off: expensive,
        cut and weld to intercooler.

        But I am very pleased.
