I had to go back into my motor cause I destroyed #4 cylinder and piston at 800 to 1000 miles. Yup I had the KS unpluged and held WOT threw the gears. Guess with the stock intercooler and TB; just could not get enough cool air. Well I found a scratched up crank and preme worn bearings. Much more I could say, but on to the question:
I called the parts house to get some new main and rob bearings, and discovered that at 85.5,- 86 etc;; the part # changed. Why are they not the same from 84 to 86?? My current config is a 84 block with a 85 crank and piston rods, so I ordered for an 85. Why is 85.5-86 different?
