Wastgate hose recommendation......

My wastgate hose (the one from the turbo fitting down to the wastegate) has managed to deterate & fall loose of the nipple on the turbo.. I trimmed the top of the hose off enough to get it reinstalled with some real hose clamps.. But the hose is fairly tight now.. I had to streach it a bit to get it reinstalled..

What to you recommend as a replacement hose?? I don't think that just vacuum hose will take the heat??

I have a connection at the local Ford dealer, so I could get that hose that they use on the newer fords for the EGR valve sensors..??

I believe it is a vacuum hose. I use silcone vacuum hoses on the wastegate actuator onmy other cars with no problems.

I've been running a regular old rubber vacuum hose and have not seen any signs of cracking/hardening.
