  • EGR Adapter Fitting

Anyone have an extra small port EGR adapter fitting that screws into the end of the exhaust manifold? The previous owner took off the EGR system and welded a plug onto the end of the adapter fitting . I need the EGR system in order to pass smog here in Las Vegas

Have a drill press handy? Get a tungsten bit and some lubricating oil and drill a new hole in the old fitting.

No can do. They screwed an end cap into the fitting and welded around the threads. I am going to take the fitting into work Friday but it doesn't look promising.

Wow...that's a bit extreme. Mine was just welded up with a MIG welder. Few minutes worth of work in the press and I was back in business.
