I didn't see on thier site the elimination of the VAF? Does this mean this is a MAP type of fuel system? If so where does the MAP sensor go in to the system? I did see on Stingers site that the meter goes away but still don't understand the plug and play without removing the vam (and new intake routing) and another sensor installed somewhere? Is this that easy?Bruce

They supply a vacuum line for it. Hook it to a vacuum source.Originally posted by Bruce View PostIf so where does the MAP sensor go in to the system?
You can leave the VAF meter in place, it will just be a restriction is all.Originally posted by Bruce View Postbut still don't understand the plug and play without removing the vam (and new intake routing)
You will need to install an ACT (Air Charge Temp) sensor that is supplied in the kit.Originally posted by Bruce View Postand another sensor installed somewhere? Is this that easy?
If you look over the entire Bamafuel post under FOR SALE on Turboford, almost every question you have will get answered. In addition, "shiftless" is a straight-forward guy and will answer any question, regardless how simple or in depth it might be.

Simple Digital Solutions
I know this is a old thread but I just happened upon it. I tried the link to bamafuel but it came up as a broken link. I was wondering how this system compared to the SDS System(Simple Digital Solutions)?????? I have the SDS but have not installed it in my car yet.

There was a whole debacle with the guy making the Bamafuel kits, taking money and not delivering. Wilson Racing is now making plug in kits. The advantage Megasquirt has over SDS is that it can do a lot more, like launch control, and has a graphical interface, but requires a computer. SDS uses a simpler hand held tuner with an LCD screen and had a customer service number you can call. Both can make your car run great. Since you already have the SDS I'd use it.86 SVO, 69 AMX, 91 SHO, 91 Bronco
