  • Changing valve cover gasket.

I'm going to change the vlave cover gasket on my '84. What is the best way to get it off? Do I take the throttle body off or take the runners off the intake. Is the gasket from forced4 worth the extra cost or get a regular one from NAPA?

The gasket is easiest with the TB off. You could take the upper intake off but it is a hastle. As far as the gasket goes the ford one is reinforced allong the entire lenght. Most others are not.

Forced4 is the way to go. They have the RIGHT stuff, get it to you FAST, and you support the vendors that are bending over backwards to support the 2.3L community........
