Fuel pressure sender on an early 2.3

How do you early SVO guys go about doing a fuel pressure sender? My inline based intake uses a square type fuel rail, which doesn't have a port for a fuel pressure sender. I have heard of people using the schrader valve as a source, but I can't find a 1/16 to 1/16 female to female fitting anywhere.

one of the easiest ways it to just replace your fuel pressure regulator with an adjustable one.. keep it at the stock fuel pressure if you want.

they normally come with a port for a fuel pressure guage built right in so all you have to do is run a line for it and you're done.

You could always splice into the factory plastic lines or braze a port on the fuel rail. So many options. I have a later style fuel rail with a port on it, but my fuel pressure gauge has a schrader valve adapter that I use for the rail.

I have an Accufab and the port is butted up against my TPS. I didn't think about brazing a port onto the rail. I asked the shop that the car is at about welding one on, and they didn't recommend it because the metal was so thin/delicate. How does one go about brazing? I've only heard the term.

Your FPR is on the firewall side of the fuel rail? I've never seen one of those before, I've only seen the ones where they are towards the front of the car.

NOS carries this fitting for nitrous stuff. any speed shop should have it.

I have Bob's plenum intake that has the throttle body where the alternator was, the FPR is in the stock location.

All the stock fuel lines on the in-line manifold systems have a schraeder valve in-line with the pressure feed line. In the area over the wiper arm. Get an Ford fuel line adapter and you're good to go.

Where do you get said Ford fuel line adapter? I have one that came with my fuel-pressure gauge but when I lost my old one I had to buy a new damn gauge for this fitting. No one I could find to listen to me knew where to get one.

I brought (3) inexpensive fuel pressure testing kits to last years reunion that had Ford adapters in them. I think SVOEric still has them (he stole them from me).

not stolen, just not shipped back yet. they are sitting right here behind my desk.

I found 2 valves on mine one on the rail one in the line.I have 2 extra rails here ill take a look an see what i got.
