  • Flowmaster exhaust pipe

Was at the local speed shop today and looked up the 3" diameter tailpipe set with polished tips.
Seems this is designed for the LX with dual exhaust.
Shop is checking to see if only the drivers side can be purchased for my '84 with the single exhaust. I already have the 3" stinger setup.
Has anyone tried this prebent pipe? Does it fit OK? Can one side be purchased alone?

I bought the dual tails, used the driver side, and sold the passenger side on another site. It made it pretty cheap overall.

As far as fitment, you can hear it touch the UCA when driving in reverse, and it's awfully close to the gas tank, and it's going to cause more problems when I install the PHB. For the time being, it's fine, and doesn't hit at all in normal driving. You'll have tight clearances with any 3" tail setup.

The one thing I don't like is the Flowmaster logo molded into the very end of the tip, facing up. It's not a big deal, but I generally don't like to have random company logos displayed on my car.

i'd be surprised if it fit with no mods and if it does I'll be buying one.. LOL.. drivers side should be ok, but I remember someone saying the pass side had issues with the OEM external fuel pump if still in use. I have the stinger setup and had to do a lot of cutting and welding, but I'll be putting a 3" chrome tip on it soon that is about 18" long.
