Hanger Brackets

Anybody have passenger-side hanger brackets that bolt to the body near the axle and the rear bumper?

Since you're asking for passenger side you must have an 85.5 or 86? These aren't SVO specific and any Mustang ( both 5.0 LX & GT ) from 86 to 93 use the same bracket. You could probably get what you need pretty cheap from www.mustangpartsspecialties.com they should have a couple of thousand laying around...

I've been to the bone yards and the 87 and up are different under by the axle ... no hanger that bolts to the body
im putting a dual exhaust in a 85.

When last did work to my exhaust, I put all new brackets on. All the hanger brackets were available new from Ford. That was something like 3 years ago though.

I parted an 89 LX 5.0 vert and they were the same as my SVO's and my 85 GT vert. I'm one of those people that save every last nut, bolt, and washer. I probably have the hangers but am not currently living at my home for family reasons. Try the link I gave you as I'm sure they would have them but say they're for an 86 GT. Do not say "SVO" as that just confuses the **** out of them. There are several here who know what I mean...

yea the ford dealer nearest me says there only the rear by the bumper are available through order at like 42 buckos and the one by the axle is not the same on the 87 and up that I ran across in the local pull a part.
