I think I picked up the last ATR downpipe and other than making the wastegate flange holes bigger it fits. On the rod's header subject, is it worth the wait? I've been getting limited info from him and can't get a reply. Have been trying to make the purchase since Sep-Oct.

Rod don't spend a lot of time using the computer.
if you want to chat about the header - he's not going to be real chatty.
but all the info about the header is all over the internet. I'm not sure what you could be asking that someone hasn't already posted either here or turboford.

If you want to buy it, send him money, and he will get you a header.

If you guys are too lazy to click on product reviews, and scroll down to find it.. I'm sure not going to hold your hand, and post the link for you.

I just wanted to know how much I needed to send with shipping and were to send the money. I'm sold on the the the product. I think those just might be important Q's.

If you sent him an email in October, and havn't heard from him, you need to send him another-- something happened to the first.

If you've sent him 5 or 6 emails asking questions that have already been answered (ie -- like the shipping question, that is already answered in the link above) he might be ignoring you.

I find with rod adding a ton of ??????????????????? usually gets his atention. Also is true for Paul at SVP. Both are hammered in emails and to wade through them is mind numbing.

                  Just a sugestion

BTW I got an email from rod last night. I will send him the link to this thread

SVOeric, can I get a little help? I spent a couple nights doing searches. I still cant find an answer to my e6 vs header question and all this searching with out seeing what I am looking for is very frustrating. Maybe I am searching the wrong way or something? I searched for e6 swap, e6 vs header, e6 header, exhaust manifold header, e3 vs e6, header etc etc. I wear glasses and after about 4 hours tonight looking at the screen I have a raging headache. I have not found any posts that talk about the difference between an e3 to e6 or e6 to header on a car like mine. Lots of header talk about the install, cracking, etc. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong or point me in the right direction. Thanks X

It depends what you have planned for it.

I would stick with the E6 for a daily driver with occasional track use due to the reliability factor.

If the car is a weekend warrior with limited street use or track only, then it depends on the rules for the class that you are running. Run whatever you can per the rules but prepare to be vigilant on maintaining torque on header boilts. Also consider some sort of support bracket for the mass of weight (turbo) that hangs off the end of that header.

I want it to be max effort street car down the road. I was just wondering if on a fairly stock 84 svo with the bolt on upgrades, if the header is really worth it or not. Thanks X.

Stay with the e-6, headers are high maintanance ( bolts backing out, leaking) and there is not much, If any gains in power. Port a new e-6 stick it on and forget it. Or install a header and keep a large supply of spare bolts in the console! You can make WELL over 300 hp with an e-6
