Yeah, I know. And I'm afraid that's where mine is, and it's now one with the floorpan since the body guys color-sanded the car with the windows and door seals out. :-(

Finally got a chance to pull the carpet. Wow, was it dirty! Flipped it over to pull the jute backing off, and when we rolled it back over, there were _piles_ of dust and dirt laying there on the floor! The jute was nasty. It looks like it soaked up most of whatever it was that was spilled on the carpet so many years ago. Where the brown stuff was, the jute was 'glued' to the back of the carpet, and had kind of a black, crumbly middle to it. It was odd that the very bottom of the jute was just a little discolored.

Got probably $0.35 off the floorpan in change, but no build sheet. :-( Took the carpet to the carwash and soaped it up, and rinsed it off with the power-washer a couple of times. While I got lots of dirty water out of it, it appears the carpet is still stained.

We've tentatively planned to put the car in the 2010 Autorama, so I'm thinking a fresher-looking carpet is in order. I'll roll up what I have and put it away, as soon as it dries, of course, but who, what, when, where for the best replacement carpet? Thanks.
