Dash blinker bulbs

Can someone instruct me on how to replace my dash blinker bulbs? Do I have to remove the instrument cluster to replace them? There must be an easier way.

You can have the cluster out in about 15 to 20 minutes not hard at all.

So what I'm reading is that I have to take the cluster out. The speedometer cable seems to be the tough part. Is there a trick to removing that? Are there any "tricks" to know before I go at it?

I have a set of 90 degree needle nose pliers that work well to pop the cable off. Been using them for years.
