Yeah - I wish I would have known that earlier. Just FYI - DONT use plastic cleaner on the dash pad. The small area I tried to rub the stain out pretty much turned to a glaze of plastic Don’t know why I always have to learn the hard way.

Did you check with Metro Mustang about the colors? Do they have an SVO specific color?
I emailed them about the color, and they replied back saying it is specific to the SVO models.

How hard you do have to squeeze on that tab?? Do I squeeze on the end (cable side) or in the center? The only thing I could get it to do is turn Thanks again

It was a small pain the first time for me too. Follow Eric's advice and do so while rocking it at different angles. Once it pops off for you, you'll know the feel and the next time you have to do this it'll just take a couple seconds.

              Carguy,

It has been a while for me, so bear with me on this...you wither squeeze the end closest to you, or furthest from you, can't remember, but you'll be able to tell right away, once you get it.

Sort of pull the cable toward you (or toward the instrument cluster), and then squeeze and push away from you...really easy, once you figure it out...

Okay - I just wanted to update this topic with the results of the dye. The primer(vinyl prep) was pretty tricky to put on. Its clear and very thin (runs easy - beware ). I got a couple runs, but it looks like it soaks into the vinyl and doesn't show after it drys. Next the dye went on - I used 2 cans and the attached picture is what I got. I think it looks fantastic, I can't wait to see it back in the car. The color looks like it'll match real good.
