Does anyone out there know where I can find a pair of 2.3 fender emblems like the 5.0 or 5.8? I have seen them, but can't remember where The guy at the local Ford dealer says they don't exist, but this is the same guy that toldf me that my SVO had an aftermarket intercooler because Ford didn't put one on a 84 Mustang. Tahnks for any help.

The only 2.3 emblems I have ever seen were made from 2.8 emblems. I made a set for my former '80 Mustang 2.3L. I found the emblems in a salvage yard on a early 80's Mustang and cut out the appropriate section to make them read 2.3, then painted them to hide the cuts. They came out OK and fooled quite a few people into thinking that car was a 5.0 since it had fender badges. You may want to ask if your Ford guy can find the 2.8 badges, which is a long shot at best. The 2.3 emblems are an idea that is in the works being produced just like the 5.8 and 7.5 emblems....once they are ready, you will be able to get them from any Mustang parts vendor that carries the other emblems....no word on an exact release date yet...
Other cars you can get them from....BMW, Mercedes, SAAB...just to name a few

nice 2.3 litre emblems came on capri's...
in the mid seventies. they look similar to the 5.0 emblem but are just a little narrower and the dot is in the middle not at the bottom. they are held on with two studs with nuts but i cut off the studs and use trim tape. they are nice aluminum and polish well. here is one i just pulled. hawkrod39 Ford Dlx Cpe, 59 Tbird 430, 60 Linc Prem Cp, (2)62 Tbirds, (3)68 Cougar XR7-G's, 69 Cougar 428CJ, 77 1/2 Ford F250 4X4, 86 SVO
