  • Hinge repair

Don't know if anybody else has discovered this... I was at Advance auto ordering my fan switch and getting the longer fuel filter for the fuel pump removal. I wandered into the HELP! section and found hinge pins and bushings... They are part # 38395. One hinge & 2 bushings for 4.99. A bit cheaper than some prices I've seen around in magazines and on the net. Fro $20 you can do all your hinges. Heck, I've seen people selling them for $17-18 for 2 sets (1 door)! I alreadly had one set, so I picked up 2 more, and I'll get the last one when they restock....

Perfect post Eric, thanks for the info. I love the search feature. I just knew they had to be found in at least one of the parts stores for less coin than the evilBay offers.

I emailed the guy on ebay a copy of the receipt for my kit from HI-LO.
      He never responded.

        Buyer Beware on EvilBay!

When it comes to evil bay the phrase "buyer beware" is most appropriate. Recently, I saw people biding on turbo install gaskets Felpro ES72811, I believe. The bids were above $10.00 + shipping on a part the seller represented as rare and hard to find. Those go for $6.99 for the same thing at the local Kragen!

It definitely pays to know what you're bidding on rather than get suckered in!
