I have no problem with Hondas and imports (though for the most part I probably wouldn't own one). They do a job. Dave was right, a 4 door civic is an econo car. Not a race car. I don't even have a problem with them wanting to do some performance and or visual upgrades to them. What I have a problem with is them taking a honda "putting an intake on it" adding a coffee can muffler that makes my John Deer sound cool by comparison and wanting to race everyone they see. As for the visual upgrades. They should make sense. A huge wing really isn't needed on a econo car. Another thing that bugs me. Whats with these guys running space savers in the front and wide (by comparrison) tires in the back? Don't they realize that the wide tires are for traction, and they're driving a front wheel drive car? That said, there are a few imports that diserve credit. These imports however are not ricers.
T*his is just the 2 cents of a highschool student who has many a friend at awe when they see a civic with a wing and have no understanding of the mechanics behind an automobile. *

. No, really, I agree with what you guys are saying. Ricers suck. I have a 92 Accord and it's great for what it was made for: driving to and from work and keeping a good gas milage. But I wouldn't spend a dime to trip it out.
