  • Biwing spoiler is cracked!

The top plane of my Biwing spoiler is beginning to grack horizontally along the seem.

The obvious remedy is to get a support. The only one I've found is at motion dynamics but they want an outrageous $100 for one painted! Does anyone else know of a company that has a support brace or maybe some advice on making my own before the problem gets worse!?

there are some home-made ones, but they aren't usually that nice. Chris Hadden (do a search here) sells the ones the club used to carry. They are in the neighborhood of $65

im kindof working on my own support made out of 1" square "u" out of aluminum. i didnt want an outside support, so i bent the aluminum piece to follow the bolt holes through the center. i had to take out all the foam inside and was hoping to reuse the plastic posts and bolts for the bottom to the top, but i was going to eliminate the seam running from end to end on the front and rear edges.........but both me and byteme cant find a good epoxy to stick to the "polycarbonate" plastic.

Chris Hadden deleted the Email I sent him before even reading it according to my reciept.

KraigW has offered to sell me some supports by Mr. Hadden but his PM box is full and he has not replied to my Email.
