You didnt specify but, My guess is that you have an aftermarket radio. Someone has probably ran a wire to close to the steering shaft on its way to the fuse block and when your turning its pulling on it.
Duhhh!!!! Why dont ya put a 5.0 in that car George???

Check the main plug to the ignition in the steering colum, its is working its self loose. Mine use to do the same thing.

Replace the ignition switch. They go bad anyways and they're cheap. Inspect the wiring that goes to it while you have the column cover off. The switch is a separate part from the ignition lock (which is where you install the key).

check the charging system, turning the steering wheel while at idle will reduce the rpm, and also the amount the alternator is putting out.

See if turning the head-lights on also causes the radio to kick off.

its the ignition something to do with it with the engine off and the key turned , if i jiggle it it turns radio on that little clock by the switches off the switches stay on , but the clock turns off

Take the cover off the steering column and check the connector leading to the ignition switch, its loose.

yea it was loose, i push it back in but it seems to be able to work out, i the switch part looks like a clamp kinda but it isnt really holding to well on one side

Get a big pull tie and wrap it around the column and connector to help hold it tight.
