  • trim around quarter windows???

    is there away to taking off the trim around the quarter windows? i got a nasty dent in it and want to know if i can take em off and hammer it out.

    Yes

    It is held in place with wire clips, be very careful though. Just pry with a putty knife close to the window side and work your way out.

      is the trim one whole piece or is in sections like the bottom,top, side?

        Quarter Window Trim

        It is one piece. If you damage yours too badly trying to take it off I have both sides available. I'll be happy to sell you which ever side you need for $15.00 plus shipping by UPS COD.

            is the trim around the quarter windows the same on any other mustangs made during that time, will non svo mustangs trim fit on the same place?

                ok i took off the trim and now i am wondering how to put it back on. there is a lot of that rubber stuff where the clips are suppost to go. so am i suppost to just cut out the rubber thats in my way?
                then when i want to put it back on what do i use to seal it up with? do i use caulk in where the clips are gonna be at to seal it up?
