Rat tail clip, what the body guy calls it.

This is the front most clip(s) that secure the rockerpanel moulding under the door. Is this part still available? If yes is there a part number for it? I need two, one for each side, to secure the lower moulding to the rockerpanel.

If it is no longer available can some please post detailed pictures (front, back and side views) of it. Dimensions would be helpful too. Might have to have it fabbed up or find another way to secure the moulding to the rockerpanel.

Any possible suggestions/solutions are welcome

My local Napa Auto Paint/Parts store has all kinds of weird trim and molding fasteners like this.

I believe you can get those from the 'Help!' section of most autoparts stores. As said above, some Napa dealerships have another collection of trim and body parts that may have one that fits.

You may also try 50resto.

If you figure out the pieces you need and are going to make an order I will get in on it with you I would like a pair of the piece I showed you and a set of the plastic holddowns for both sides (Basically all new stuff for both sides)
