  • Boport Ported Rapido Head Flow #s

Just got my flow numbers from Bo today. Read 'em and weep.

At stock boost pressure, Bo's port work on a big valve head, his 2.1 roller cam, Rod's header, Evergreen's T04B, and my 3" DP generated ~60 RWHP over stock. Can't wait to see what happens when I turn up the boost a little.

Did all of this get installed at once? Wondering how much you had to turn it up in order to maintain stock pressure.

^ This was done on a flow bench.

What is the cam max lift point?
Is this for the inside runners or outside?

It wasn't installed all at once, but a bent valve led to the porting work. I meant stock boost pressure of 15psi using a gillis MBC.

If you look closely at the header of the sheet, it says that it was #3 port. As specified on Boport's website, the lift on the 2.1 cam is 0.522"

Mike, you need to tell everyone about how the combo turned a "non interference" stock combo into a "barely non interference" setup, and what you had to do to get into the safe zone once again.

              Pat,
The issue was most likely an assembly error by me and my brother. I double checked the interference when assembled and there is ~5/8" clearance between the piston and valves. However, if the timing belt breaks, there is the possibility of bending a valve or putting a hole in the piston.

                  Like you get a choice?

Now hook up that FMIC, turn the boost up, and install a good engine management system and pick up another 60 RWHP!

                      That's the goal.

If in he drilled it out correct (straight & square) & installed it correct he should have no problems. Besides, isn't there parts of that car held together with chewing gum or something??
