EDIT : I sent an e-mail saying I was extremely unhappy with their service and I got a phone call ( asked for home number to send message ) within about 2 minutes and got to speak to a manager. I'm now supposed to get a UPS call tag and a full refund. I will give them a chance to redeem themselves and will update on if they do what they now say they'll do. ORIGINAL THREAD : Do NOT buy a radiator from www.radiators.com or the Auto Radiator Outlet. There is an add in the MCA magazine Mustang Times that shows a beautiful aluminum radiator that is supposed to be a direct fit for Fox body Mustangs. It looked good so I called and discussed the radiator with their customer service. I asked specifically if it was all aluminum construction and that if it was welded and not epoxied. I was told yes absolutely and that it was only $149.00 plus tax and shipping. What I got is brass and copper. I called them to return it and was told that they will only send a call tag for a damaged / exchange and that if I didn't want it I was responsible for the freight PLUS a $35.00 restocking charge. They also said I could order an aluminum one but it was $350.00 plus tax and shipping. I told them that was what I was supposed to get the first time. I also said I shouldn't have to pay for their mistake and was told that since I wanted to cancel the order there was nothing he could do and repeated the $35 BS message word for word. I tried to call back twice and after asking to speak to a manager I got the same guy both times in customer service who then asked me to "hold please". I hung up. It is a nice radiator but is not what I wanted. I paid a total of $169.94 for it. I'm going to try and send them a e-mail to get some satisfaction. I'm also going to notify the MCA of their fraudulent business practices and recommend they pull the endorsement. If I don't get satisfaction I'll sick my credit card company on them!

Well, after 3 psychotic episode / hissy fit phone calls they finally sent me a Fed-X call tag to return the radiator. They will only credit me upon receipt back at their warehouse and their inspection approval. At this point I absolutely don't trust them and suspect they might say "oh it's damaged... sorry no refund" and screw me again. I'm thinking it might fit in the 1B? The original radiator ( in the 1B ) has been "modified" ( read cut and hacked ) to accept an aftermarket electric fan. I have two excellent shape original style SVO fans that I'm thinking of picking the best one and putting it back to original appearance. I'll be checking dimensions to see if it will fit this weekend. If it doesn't fit I'll take some pictures to keep as evidence that it is in perfect shape before I ship it back. I still STRONGLY recommend no one buy from these "individuals" and I'm trying to be as PC as I can...

Ken, I'm sorry to hear it, hope you get it resolved properly.
This company, http://www.caradiator.com/ was great to work with for me. Nearly the same address - which caught my eye. When I ordered the wrong radiator, I gave them the dimensions I actually needed and they spec'd their search based on my requirements and got me a perfect replacement w/ the in/out just as I needed. They shipped the new one and exchanged before receiving my radiator back to them. There are some good internet companies out there. Sheer luck I hit a good one, but thought I'd mention it for anyone in the future that needs a source.-James Price- '84 SVO 9W leather, SVO #124

Well I decided to go ahead and put it in the 1B. While not completely original ( thicker 2 row core ) the end tanks are absolutely identical. I also disassembled the after market fan and have pitched the half-a**ed brackets used to mount it to the original radiator. I have some nice aluminum channel in my pack-rat stash that I am cutting down to make new custom brackets. Once painted black they will give a much better appearance to the fan and engine compartment. The fan was working fine so I'll just re-route the wiring for a more factory look and leave it alone. When I do sell it I will throw in one of the factory fans and if the new owner wants to install it that will be their project.
