I am looking at also buying a set from an 2006 with the following specs. Will these fit?

    Fits 2005-08 Mustang GT
    5-Lug 4.5" bolt circle
    6.295" backspacing
    45 mm offset
    17" x 8" wide
    Includes center cap

    Hope these will work?

I guess these will work? Can't really see the difference from the factory nuts vs this one.

If you use the stock lug nuts, they will stick out too far and look rather goofy.

I got the stock tires replaced with some 245/40/17 ( I bought them used so I had to go with the 40 series). Now the tire shop, installed the wheel weights on the outside lip of the rims but what's even worse I noticed that one of the weights is installed in reverse, where the weighted end is mounted inside the rim and of course the tire is covering it up - wtf!

          Will this be an issue?

          Thanks,

          Eric

To properly balance tires (dynamic balance) there MAY be weights on the inside, and outside of the rim.
Static balancing can be done with all the weights on the back of the rim, but it is not as accurate. You generally have to ask for static balancing if looks are more important than smooth ride.

I'd like to see a pic of this weight you are talking about.
the weight could not be in the bead area of the rim, or the tire wouldn't seal, so I 'm really confused on how a weight could be inside the tire??

            and TWO last items....
#1, you kinda jumped into your own thread about rims, and asked your balance question... probably should start new thread when you do this, but since it's your own thread, it's not a big deal...
#2 please add a state to your location information. It's required per the rules.
            Thanks
