Yeah something doesn't match. He states that the tires are take-offs from a nearly new SVO yet the wheels look like they have 100,000+ miles on them. I suppose they could have been mounted on those wheels at a later date but I try never to suppose or assume ANYTHING about an eBay auction. I bet those tires are hard as rocks after all these years. Good for a show car if they aren't all cracked, but I sure wouldn't drive on them.

...Which is one reason why I'd like to find an aftermarket rim of the same style that fits. I asked about that a year ago on some other SVO site and practically got flamed off the board because everyone thought the stockers were ugly. But for me, I only want the SVO style or a 93 Cobra style, so I'm stuck with stock wheels.

Ugly? I think the stock wheels are cool looking. I'm not a big fan of being able to see the brakes, which seems to be some kind of trend these days.

          Myself as well!
I like the SVO wheels. Weren't they designed to be aero, i.e. smooth?
Sure they may weigh a bit, but that's THE CAR.
Mine go to Wheel Worx in July for a redo!

I went through great pains to keep the stock SVO wheels on my car, even though it has 2000 Cobra IRS and a tubular SN95 coil over front suspension. I like that plain-jane stock wrapper look to the car. As for different wheels, the only ones I'd consider are the 93 Cobra wheels, but they are 4 lug. No one makes that wheel in 5 lug, do they?

thunderbirds were the same style but in 15s. im not sure if they had a 16 option of the same style, but ive never installed tires on one. the 15s came on i think the 94-95.what i mean is: for the 93 cobra style in 5 lug.
