03 Mustang Gt Rims

Does anyone know how these would fit on my 84? I'm just worried about rubbing.

SN95 2000+ rims

Gary, any wheel off of any SN95 2000+ (basically any newer mustang) will not fit the front spindles of an SVO. Our spindles are too big. I assume your talking about the bullit style wheels right?

If you check out SVPU .com and click on the project cars and 86 Teal SVO youll see Pauls SVO with these wheels on and some description about their installation.

If you want to install newer (2000+) Mustang rims you need to either machine out the center of the front rim wider for our bigger diameter spindle OR swap in the 2000+ SN95 front brake setup including steering knuckles (spindles). Otherwise any SN95 rim 94-99 will fit of course the offset on these are a bit wider than ours so you might need to roll the rear quarter panel lips especially if your going to run a 17" rim.

Sorry Izzy -- that's not completley true --

I dropped a set of 2003 v-6 (16X7) Mustang wheels on my SVO for a couple of weeks (just to play with), and they fit, without any rubbing in the front. --

The rears do stick out some, and would probably catch a fender if the car were loaded.

The only WONT FIT part (on those wheels) is the center caps.-- because the hubs do stick out too far for them to fit.

There are some of the sn95 GT wheels that will work -- others wont.

Oh i didn't know that. From what i have read here thats what i was under the impression of. Hmm, well i know those bullitts wont fit for sure at least. My bad guys.
