  • Piston valve caps!!!!

    Hey all,
i saw the COOLEST thing the other day. I was travelling back from Portland to Ashland on the I5 last sunday and I stopped for gas at the truck stop across from the 7 Feathers casino. I always love to look around in truck stops because you can find some cool stuff.

Well, I found these caps for the tire valve stems that are shaped like little pistons. I think when i'm towing the SVO home on monday I will have to stop in and get a pair.

Now, if i can just get someone to machine the valve relielfs in thepiston top.......

Would this classify as my first bolt on???????

they're heavy, and cause the tires to be unbalanced.

I have a set and they are VERY heavy. If your gonna use them have your tires balanced with them on. If not you'll feel those puppys bounce at high speed.

Well I'm gonna need to remove the existing weights to polish the wheels anyways so I will get them rebalanced with the caps on. They were a pack of 4 and looked like they were aluminium and didn't feel that heavy to me.

Maybe i should get out the digital scale and make sure they're all the same weight so i don't effect the "balance" to much!!!!!!!!!!!! Blueprinted valve caps.......cool

Maybe the "dice" style valve stem caps that they sell in Neveda would be easier to balance.
