Thanks V, I'll be picking up a set of tri-bars next weekend. Couldn't beat the price.

Well I guess that I'm a little bias in this but I like the 96/98 cobra's.. I'm blasting them & painting them silver with dark gray or black in the pockets.. I just put one on the sacle here at work & they weigh in at 21.6 lbs.. I think that they look more like an 80's type wheel that should have been on the SVO from the factory..

Here are a few pic's of my 9W at night with them being test fitted.. The date reads 11/17/07.. That was the last time that I have seen her.. Sitting in storage for the long winter..

Since Dave got the wheel weight for the Cobra wheel, can someone post the weight of the Tri-bar? I know my Cobras with Yoko A520 245/45ZR17's tip the scale at 50 lbs even. My stock wheels with BFG Comp T/A 245/50ZR16's were at 52 lbs even. Just curious.

Also, paint the tri-bar centers black and leave a silver lip.

The tri-bars with center caps and without tires weigh in at 21 lbs.

Looks like there is virtually no weight difference between the Cobra and Tri-bar rims. Thanx for the info.

                center caps

No offense, but what looks silly to me is any wheel without the center caps. I just dont like the unfinished look.

I love my 96 Cobra wheels, but could see how some dont like due to the very minor sticking out sdue to offset differences.

I like the tri-bars and you can usually find them pretty cheap.

The Tribar's are the equivalent of an ugly prom date. They're a little better than the stock wheels (beats staying home), but you probably won't be ordering a ton of pictures for friends and family (nice to say you went to the prom)..
