George we could hook up around I 75 & SR 52, let me know.

This will (hopefully) be my first reunion . I'll be coming from western Mass. Have to drop my daughter off in NE PA at my parents house. Whatever mapquest says is the way I'll go. Long drive for a weekend - something like 870 miles (200+ to my parents plus 670 to Richmond KY) but I'm looking forward to meeting some of the folks I've heard so much about and seeing all of the other SVO's!

Sounds like a plan to me. But I have alot of work ahead of me. Cobra brakes all around new motor and tranny install. Too bad the paint and body look like crap. It'll be down to the wire for me but sounds like a plan. Maybe I can come up Wed. night and sleep on your floor George .

JT - there should be a small group of us coming from NJ/PA/MD. We should all try and hook up along the way. Will let you know details once the dates get a little closer.

TRUST ME....it is always good to convoy to something that is this far away.

Mr Pink - just traded e-mails with Gyrhead (Paul) who will be coming from NH. And NY Eric I think will be traveling the same route more or less. So yes - it would be cool to hook up as many SVO's from up here as possible. What's that old saying "there's strengh in numbers, especially ones with tools....."

For what it's worth 81 S intersects 70 W in Hagerstown MD. My map says that might be a nice place for us North-easterners to rendezvous Thursday morning. It looks like 7 hours from there. I'm tired already. I'll see if I can find a decent place, that we can all easily see, to get a cup of coffee.
BTW I spotted a kind-of long-in-tooth 84 2A, sporting 88-ish tail lights, heading north on I 95 here in Maryland about an hour ago. I tried to get his attention in traffic but could not. After we all got passed THE STINKIN' OVERSIZED CRANE he took off and I lost him.

This was where we hooked-up when convoying down to the 40th. There is a rest stop about two-miles or so South of the I-81/I-70 intersection.
