Where is everyone coming from ?? ( Driving Routes )

Last year we met up in Knoxville at the Cracker Barrell on I-75 and I-40 on Friday...I think it was around 3pm. I think kiwi's gonna come were on Wednesday and we'll g from here so I think thats probably gonna be the same this year. But Im flexiable.

Is there anyone heading south down the I-75 on thursday morning?
I might leave wed night and stay overnight somewhere in ohio and carry on thurs morning would like to arrive mid afternoon in kentucky

Well it looks like I'll be taking a different route this year since I-40 is washed out near the TN line. I'll probably take I-26 thru Johnson City to I-81 back down to Knoxville. Its probably not the shortest detour but looks to be least stressfull. Either way I'll make it some how.

Question: When do people from NJ/NY/MD/NH plan to arrive in KY?
and when do you plan to leave home?
Any thoughts?

I'd like to plan my departure time/date.

Dana - shot you a PM. I plan on arriving in KY on Thurs and depart on Mon. After a day of running the car around the auto-x I don't want to drive back home. Besides, there is usually enough folks hanging out until Mon to make Sun nite worth it.

I am not sure of when I am going through that area
I think the plan will be to drive straight through to KY on Wed evening and then sleep it off Thursday afternoon or when ever we can get into our room.

That is preliminary we may not leave till early Thurs and arrive that evening?

I have the roof skin metal ripped off the car and am ripping the donor metal apart still havent replaced the rear quarter yet. It is getting down to the wire! The interior is out and the car has a nice beach look inside with all the sandblasting I dont know if we can get this thing done. Like a version of Orange County Choppers and everyone is at each other.

We are heading up Thursday from BTR, LA straight through Birmingham, AL. Then northward bound to KY. It would be cool to meet up with anyone. My wife and I will be traveling by ourselves.

It normally take about 6 hours to get to Birmingham from here. I would like to make it there about 12 - 1:00 pm. That'll make time for arrival in Kentucky around 7-8:00 pm.

Map quest says I will be going down 39 into Il. to 74 at Bloomington Il. through In. down 75 at Cincinnati to Richmond.
