It's nice to see another one getting the attention it needs. Like JT, it will be nice to see how the roof gets fixed.

Yeah, I had no idea the Road Warrior had rust that bad in the back hatch area.
I guess that means I'm OK with getting it fixed

EDIT still think it would look cool with black fenders...

Could go with a black/white patrol car theme with white hood/roof/hatch/doors and the rest black??

The finished fix. It was had to see because of the bright white paint.... Not used to that on the Road Warrior.

More work and a new windshield. A GT40 went off course on the last outing at Barber and the belly pan scooped up a bunch of rocks.

Boy, we aren't going to be able to recognizer her when she's done!! Maybe you should have them airbrush some rust colored accents on the trim and roof, so you can keep some of her character alive on the outside...

                        Wow I'm with Rob!
It will take awhile to digest this... Lots of fond memories I still have very cool track pictures of the Road Warrior passing a new 80K red GT at the 45th at Barber track day. The same day Ty sucked a 427 track pack car into the guard rail. Those were the days.
Take your time and enjoy it looks like you are off to a great start

Finally got it back from the body shop. It is still a 10 footer, because I didn't have them do a 100% job since it is going to be a track car. Considering where it was compared to now, it's like a new car to me. I still have some trim work to do. And the lights are not bolted in yet. What do you guys think? I'm kind of missing the blue hatch.

I think it looks great. I guess you'll be pulling the lights before going to the track anyway, right?
