My brake rotors are warpped and I, like most of you I'm sure, prefer to upgrade, rather than replace stock parts. I drive on the street daily, never on a track (maybe someday but not regularly), spirited driving very often though. My question is to all of you who have upgraded brake rotors, is it worth the money to get Powerslots or something like them, or just get stock replacements, Im on a tight budget. Secondly, I hate seeing rust on the rotors, has anyone found rotors that do not rust?
Heres the list of things I had planned on changing, feel free to make positive or negative recommendations on any of these, or other, parts you have experience with.
Rotors: stock replacement, or Powerslot (depends on forum input)
Pads: frnt - Hawk HPS, rr - stock replacement (I'm set on these)
Lines: Upgrade to SS braided lines all 4 corners
Fluid: Flush and fill with valvoline syn power synthetic brake fluid (is there any difference performance wise in any brake fluid?)
