I have replaced all of the bad connectors in my wiring harness, Then trested them back to the ecu pins. So I am fairly confident that I have them right.
Replaced, cap, rotor, plugs.
Try to start, and the engine turns over but nothing.
Check for spark at the coil, and NONE.
Go through the TFI -IV troubleshooting, and everything checks out until I get to the Stator test, page 15-59, this is where my troubles begin, I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!
It says, "remove coil wire and ground", which wire? Coil to distributor? Or teh ignition coil connector?
Then it says to disconnect the "pin-in-line connector" and attach the the (+) VOM lead to the TFI Module side of the connector? What do they want me to connect to? The six pins, one at a time?
Please help, my goal was to get the old girl running over this long weekend.
It would appear that the way I am headed, it is either the stator, or the TFI.
Thanks.
