Well my string is below here with my "No spark from the coil thread".
I finally went to the 1984 Emissions and diagnosis book, and looked up the code, rather than just looking at the book that came with the tester.
The code I have is 67, which says to go to quick test FA, which then tells me to go to FA15, and KN15.
Both of which require a breakout box to test. Which I do not have.
Both tests if they do not work out indicate that the processor is bad.
So my questions are:
1. How do I test theseitems without the breakout box?
2. Can I just taken the "processor" to Auto Zone and have them test it?
3. What is the easiest way to drain the tank?
By the way, I have 18 psi of fuel pressure at the Schrader valve with KOEO. When I crank the motor the pressure rises to 32 psi.
I have spark at the plugs.
I have tested the injectors with the noid light.
This is etremely frustrating.
My "boss" was rushing me this evening so I was unable to check the timing as of yet. I did bore sight the tab on the timing gear with O degree on the crank pulley. Thats when I had to stop.
Thanks.
