when using either type of aftermarket fan controler, you can control when it runs by where you pull the power source from.
if you pull it from a full-time 12 V source, it will run after the car shuts off. If you pull it from a 12V Key on source, it won't -- it's that simple
ANY fan that is setup off a 12V full-time source, IS ALWAYS going to run after the engine is shut off -- because the engine ALWAYS gets hottest after being shut off.
I have a controler that has the probe that goes in the radiator now, and it works perfectly.
I HAD one that had the push in sensor on the radiator, and that thing would kick on in the middle of winter after the car had been sitting for 2 days.
