bad motor or bad shop help me out ?

I had the same thing the first shaft lasted a lot of miles (with the hivolume pump) unfortinatly I replaced the shaft and dis gear numerous times then.......the pump
I would bet the pump is a hi volume, replace the pump with a stock pump put in a new AUX shaft and a Dis gear.

Then find the running problem I also think it is the VAM or a bad hose before the turbo

Hey man, where in the bay area are you located? I live in San Leandro and although my time is pretty much spoken for most of the time i can try and help with basic checks just to rule out things. I have a STAR tester too. Let me know if your nearby, maybe we can meet or somthing.

that would be great!! im located in redwood city and i decided to take the car to another shop since this shop doesnt deal with 2.3 motors they only do the 5.0's.
the shop wanted me to pay them 500 for the work they did and have my car towed out of the shop how funny when i actually drove it in. but we finally work something out so i dint have to pay the full amount .

Sorry I keep missing you. There are quite a few SVO locals in the Bay Area. I'm the other direction on Whipple, just off El Camino. I can hook you up with someone who has a few SVOs and may even be familar with your car. I'm fairly decent with cars but no expert as mine is still new. You have my number, give me a call. DIAMOND RIDGE MOTORSPORTS to fix it cause the other place had no clue what was going on?
