    well, works great. I found a few vacuum lines broken and unplugged and now the fan works and vents work. heater works great.

    I know for sure now that the rear end on this car is not that of the SVO. Two clues gave it away... one is there is a fuel door release button in the dash..no fuel door release installed .... also there is rear defrost, but no defrosting lines on the window.

        just did my heater core on my 84 last night, took about 5.5 hours to do, but I did it WITHOUT disconecting the A/C, so I was moving a little more carefull. and I started at 8pm and finished at 1:30am, workign outside in a parking lot with a flashlight....... LOL

        I did my Comp Prep a few years ago, it on ly took about 10 minutes.

            Can all the A/C stuff be taken out and converted to heat only?

              get a non ac heater box is the easiest way
              moving forward in a backwards rotation

                My 82T-top has the 15 minute heater element repacement: I definately don't look forward to changing the SVO, w/AC, heater element!!!!!!!
                '64.5 K cp, '66 A fb, '82 GT T-Tops, '86 SVO.
