do you your high speed runs on 7 mile bridge for testing?
That's funny. It's 50 miles away. I have gotten up to 85 on it before but that's a pretty dangerous place to speed. Any accident there cuts of tens of thousands of people in the lower keys and if the bridge is taken out so are the water, power and phone lines to the keys.

I am assuming the VAM could be left on (but not used) to keep the look of the stock setup. True?

Is the only difference on the on the SVO/Tbird units the pinouts to match the original harness configuration? Maybe I shoud be asking them this one.

Where did you end up installing the Intake Air Temperature sensor? Upper intake? Just curious.

Do you connect to the unit using a USB interface for logging/tuning?
Disregard this question I just found the USB/serial adapter they sell in the accessories section. SO I know the interface is serial to the BAMA unit.

Good to hear you like the system. After i do some cam testing i'll probably be switching over to the MS system.

My Maf converted PE computer WORKS.... but it has a few problems that i just can't seem to get rid of.
Keep us updated on anything new you find or think maybe be usefull to the masses

Sure you could leave the VAM on but not connected but it would be a huge bottleneck to airflow.

Nathan sells it with the pinout you request. I had an LA3 computer and no sensor so I bought an SVO kit with an LA3 pinout.

I had converted to a ported square intake and 52lb injectors to I installed the intake air temp sensor in the factory location in the lower intake.

I still have a TON of tuning to figure out. For instance I have a flat spot just as I lift the gas. I know it has something to do with the AFR but I'm just not educated enough to know where to look for the solution yet. When it's cold I have a flat spot just as I give it gas. Again, I just don't know where to look for the answer.

But generally once warm, cruising and accelerating it's every bit as steady as the EEC was.

Look at the acceleration wizard (I'm assuming this is available on MSI, I don't know why it wouldn't be). You guys with the pre-built plug-and-play systems are actually at somewhat of a disadvantage because you have no reason to know about all the features and how they work.

I've got it, now I've got to figure out what to do with it.

                  Edit:
                  OK, got it. Thanks.

My car runs great. I had been having a hard time with cold start issues but just got that part licked a few days ago. I really like the idea of an infinitely tunable timing and fuel curve.

How did you deal with cold start? Fuel enrichment?

I screwed around with fuel enrichment until i was blue in the face with zero success. It turned out to be the Idle Duty Cycle was too low at 25%. Once I set the cranking DC above 45% all was golden. Nathan seemed to be very surprised that it took so much. He said that if his was that high he'd be hitting the rev limiter.

Now I've got to go back and re-tune all that enrichment that I screwed around with. I currently have after start enrichment off and may just leave it that way. I really can't see the use when the low is 75* here. Warmup enrichment helps a lot though.

                              are you using a wideband.

Yes, I run a wideband full time. I consider it added safety for boosted applications. The MS can do SO much more with the input of a WB.
