People using this downpipe. How do you have it connected to your mid-pipes? Anyone running a Stinger mid-pipe? How is the fit and finish?

I put the Stinger pipe on my previously owned '85. Was not a great fit - hung too low, had to take it to an exhaust shop for corrective "adjustment". I believe since then he has made modification improvements. But....Originally posted by kjdad View Post....Anyone running a Stinger mid-pipe? How is the fit and finish?
I would recommend the Merkur Depot pipe:
1) Based on other's experience and forum posts, it's a better fit
2) They are an SVOCA vendor

I have this set up. Merkur-depot to a 3" magnaflow cat, to a stinger 3" mid pipe, to a turned down 3", straight thru magnaflow. My local muffler guy did my set up. Had to cut off some of the Merkur DP (up to near the exhaust hanger on the pipe.) I don't have any pics, sorry. Any exhaust guy should be able to do this... (This is on an 86 with single exhaust btw, driver's side exiting)Last edited by uh0h50; 10-16-2009, 12:36 PM.
