  • Font for svo logo

Does anyone KNOW what font is used for the svo badges? I am thinking about putting the big letters on the bottom of the door when i repaint, but i want to use the correct print.

Just copy the one at the top of the page? That is what I did. I think any competent sign company should be able to enlarge and reproduce what ever you want. The shadow style decal is also still available from our vendors and you could use it just the same way.

Kit - responded to your PM before seeing this thread. If you're wanting the 84 shadow letters like your example on the lower door panel picture above? You could always buy a 84 hatch decal and have a local sign shop scan it and reproduce in a larger format to fit your needs.

you're going to have to mangle up an existing font quite heavily to match the hand layout of the SVO emblem. might be easier to scan, convert to paths, and then hack on that, rather then trying to start with an existing typeface. (though lucida seems pretty close, but would require some very heavy kerning to get right)
