Not really...I would rather stick the pick in my now ex-wifes eye instead for forcing me to sell it!! I knew what I had the whole time I had it and I am very glad I sold it to Kendal! I didnt ask a penny more for it than what I payed for it and the few things I bought for it while I had it.....but Kendal gave me a little extra on the check anyway.....guilt maybe??
Brian,
I was really excited when you brought this car to everyone's attention. You got the real glory - announcing it to the world. Thankfully you sold it to someome who appreciates it and will fix it right!
That is a cool piece of SVO history for sure.
Did we ever get an idea of how this was ordered ?
Mark Haas has met the origional owners son and is going to get with him to find out more information. If I remember correctly he worked in the special order department where police cars etc were ordered special colors so he knew what to do to get special colors.
I had some body shop problems, had to get another body man. In the mean time I replaced the frame rail and the front box. Then I built a rotisserie, had the bottom, front box, and inside blasted. I have since been welding in patch panels. I have had the body man look at it and he is going to epoxy prime and paint it on the rotisserie along with the rest of the body work. You would not believe how many holes there were after all the undercoating was blasted off. I would like to have it done by this summer. It always takes longer than expected.
Lookin good even with the problems! Cant wait to see it return to glory! If you dont mind send me any new updates to brrasey@yahoo.com so I dont post useless threads on here.
?? -- any info posted on this car would hardly be worthless.
Kendal, if you have the time, it would be cool to start a thread in the members project section
Finally got the bottom and inside painted and back from the body shop and off the rotisserie. I can at least start putting stuff back on before the outside gets painted.
