Yeah come on - glad to see they made it right. The color 4E is a very hard to capture in photos. It'll look completely different on a bright sunny day.

If you don't mind me asking, how much was the re-paint? What company did the paint come from? I want to do the same to my 4E one of these days, yours looks beautiful! Here's mine as it sits right now:

SergeantZ, I sent you a PM. I wasnt going to post the price, but what the hell...With the extensive body work that the car needed and painting the engine bay, hood, trunk and door jams.. the total came out to just over $6100.00 This includes undercoating too. I know it sounds like a lot, but I am happy with it.

Yup, it was cloudy that day. Your right Bud, it will look totally different! After the moldings are done and the wheels are polished and back on, I will have some more pics taken and post them.

I was hoping it was the clouds making it look dark. It still doesn't look like the 4E's Iv'e seen in person. I was also taken back when I saw the metallic green and am happy to see it the proper green... even if it is ugly... (J/K)
If it ain't broke... Give me some time!

With as bad as it was crunched that sounds like a fair price to me.

Thanks for the PM mallethead, it gives me an idea what it would cost. Luckily, mine doesn't have any body damage, just minor surface rust. Actually, with over 300K miles, the body panels line up better than my '03 cobra!

                              Wayne the car looks GREAT!!!
I cant believe it is the same car that was found in the horse trailer many years ago
Here is a picture of my 4e with the way the "spat" in front of the rear wheel should be painted.
I noticed yours was completely the charcoal color

I cant wait to see this car in person

Rob, Thanks for the pic. That one belongs to me, its my screwup as I didnt know or tell them before painting the trim. It will just have to stay until the next paint goes on her. Thanks for the compliments, I am really, really excited about the car. Now for the interior, exhaust and then the "little things" that will probably never stop! I have thrown a couple of personal touches on her that I will show later. Nothing that will hurt the car or its originality though.
