  • Raven's 86 2R

Well before I finished the 1B I have started on the 2R. Yea the one Mitch broke at the reunion. Started sanding last weekend and hope to get it in the paint booth next week. Hopefully the next 2 months will be entertaining.... One of the things I have now learned after working on the front fenders is that the aftermarket fenders are not near the quality of the original Ford fenders. They are alot more work to prep than the originals!

Guilty as charged! I actually worked on the SVOs yesterday. Took the fenders off and will hopefully pull the doors today. Did most of the work on the 1C though......

Looks like quite the slog. I keep vacilating between restoring the "red turd" and just getting it drivable.

I'm not sure I need another project at the moment, and the wife wants me to do the Alfa.

Mine's a "barn find" kind of car. 66k, hasn't been driven since 1986. I think we'll just get it road worthy and start driving it. Only dents in it were from the boxes that had been piled on it.

My 1C is a garage find, from Liberty Mounds, Ok. Dang tractor damage! Show us a pic! I've always liked the older GTVs.

Work and back injuries have kept me from doing anything on the car. Today I pulled the engine and transmission to clean them up and maybe get it painted before Pat gets here. I want to have plenty of things to keep him busy. Started at 2 o'clock and had it pulled and in the back of the truck and everything put away by 5. Not a bad day with a sore back......

Hey we still go on the rear end some time? I can make a trip up from Shawnee when you want. Can help pull it as well if you need.

                            Thanks
