No, but you are one of the few Joe and Chris. Boy, that gloss finish on the valve cover sure does shine purdy! Is that powder coated?

my exhaust gasket lasted almost 10,000 miles, so if you don't drive a lot, it might be OK

Yes Ted it is powdercoated. I started a new business and am in the process of getting it up and running and the SVO is going to be one of my display cars for the business. I have been running an exht gasket since i got the car, I put about 50k on the last gasket. As soon as I get a bigger oven built I will be advertising with a SVOCA discount on Powdercoating. I can do small stuff now as long as it is under 19 inches long.

Well here is the bad news, the silver car is up and uhhh not running. Its all back together and whatever originally blew up was in the block. So here is where the news gets worse, the built block from the Black 86 is going to be a doner for the 85 due to financial constraints and Christmas coming up. The good news is now I can build that 2.5 monster I've always wanted for the black car. On a brighter side, the fuel rail and lines I made worked great. I'll take a pic tomorrow in the daylight and post it so you can see. I'll keep you posted on the build.

Ok so today I robbed the engine out of the poor old black car or the parts donor that it is new referred to. The silver car has now been broken for over 6 months and it's time to put it back together. I'll keep you posted on how it goes.

Well it's running again after 6 months. Got the new engine in it. It is bored .020 over with forged pistons rods and crank and total seal rings. The head has been ported and polished with Rods header and a built T3. Also in the head is an A237 roller cam with ported upper and lower intakes and my custom fuel rail. It has a 3 inch downpipe with 2.5 mufflers. Got a few bugs to work out but hey, Its running again.

Sounds like it should be a pretty strong runner, looking forward to the pics. If you need help resizing or anything on the pics, drop me a PM.
