Leather Seat Kits

Did anyone see if these seats kits are up to snuff? Honestly i could careless about color, i want to know if they fit good and if they are a quaility product.

I emailed Jax and asked for a photo of their SVO leather seat kit.
They said that they would send a photo after I ordered a set.

That does sound fishy. I'd like to get a sample of the material they use for the inner/outer portions of the seats. I have an NOS set of lower seat covers and it's hard to imagine aftermarket materials could be of much worse quality. The factory material is pretty thin.

Hey guys...I went over there a month ago to check them out. I was gonna post, but then I forgot, so im glad this thread got ressurected. They seem like a class A shop, very nice to talk to and straightforward. I'm pretty sure the reason they won't send you a picture is because they don't have one made yet. They said they make them when an order comes up. The reason they offer a leather kit is because someone brought in a svo w/ leather to be redone a year or two ago, so now they have the patterns and can quickly make them up and ship them out. I didn't think to ask at the time, but I bet if I bring my cloth seats in they could make patterns and then they could make kit out of that too. I asked about the cloth and they said it's N/A anymore (duh), but they would just find the closest match possible if I couldn't supply.

I have a bunch of prices written down for different combinations, e.g. cloth/leather, installed/not installed, etc. PM if you are interested.

I just ordered a set of their front seat covers. I'll post pictures when they come in (2-3 weeks).

what I would like to know is if you can get a leather kit and recover cloth seats..anotherwords is the frame of the seats the same....also I heard that if you get leather you should get it for all your needs at the same time..front and back seats. because the colors may not be excatly the same from the time you order the front seats and the time you would order for the back seats....

Yes and yes. But you may have a tough time finding the back seats since Jax only has the front covers available and I don't know anybody else who is manufacturing them these days.

I spoke to Jax Thursday. They will do a rear leather seat cover for an SVO.

I explained the possibility of color matching issues.I sent a few photos of my "mint" condition rear seat to give them an example of the seat pattern.The rear is not much different than a standard mustang rear seat.

I received swatches of the leather yesterday.They said they would send me photos of Ron's seat once they are completed. They will post photos of the seat covers on their website ASAP.

I've used thme years ago

I used them years ago to get seats repaired on company vehicles. They have always done a nice job for a reasonable price.

Anything new on these seats yet? I just noticed the leather starting to seperate at the left bolster on my driver's seat.
