ben-O'brien1.jpg (17093 bytes)I purchased my car,in October of 1998 from a Ford Executive. When I purchased the car it had 14,700 miles, with the original Gatorbacks on it. It came with all the Ford Factory manuals, spare Hurst bolts for the shifter, one full size SVO wheel and Gatorback tire. Also it had the original window sticker, build sheet, and warranty card.

My SVO has original leather interior, competition prep option, which deleted the stereo radio, power windows and power door locks. When the car was prepped at the dealer they installed a sunroof.

Modifications

May, 1999, new Bridgestone RE 71's were installed on a spare set of  "highly polished" SVO rims. Rims were polished by WheelWorx, through the SVOCA club membership offer. I highly   recommend their work.

New E6 exhaust manifold, and new valve guide seals were installed by Ryan Cloud "SVODOC" before the Carlisle'99 trip. Ryan also detailed the engine while everything was open. Transmission was pulled and RTD, to repair leak.

Future plans include the repainting of the hood and roof after  the removal of the dealer installed sunroof, and a replacement of the roof panel to original as build condition.

I plan on keeping this car completely original, due to it being 1 of 83 built in 1986, and 1 of approximately 120 total built from 1985 to 1986.
