This is the Vehicle Identification Number. All SVO Vin's start with IFABP28T. VINs should be 17 characters in length. The VIN can be found on the dash viewed through the front window, this is the best place to get the vin. VIN is also on the drivers side door-tag, but be careful, as the doors could have been changed.

Mustang SVO's were made for 3 years, 1984, 1985, 1985.5 and 1986. All SVO's should fall into one of these years. PLease choose the correct year for the SVO you are entering. If you're unsure if your car is an 85 or 85.5, you should read the FAQ, and if still in doubt, ask on the forum.

Owner field should comtain the name of the current owner of the SVO. If you've found this car on a auction or classified site, list site, and as much info as available (example: ebay-PeterPiper). If you don't know who the owner is, you can list it as Unknown. This field can't be blank.

Mileage field is for listing the current miles on the SVO. If you don't know how many miles are on the car, please enter 0. If you suspect the mileage is at physical limit, enter mileage as shown on the odometer and list your thoughts in the description (step 3). If you know this SVO odometer has rolled over, list the full mileage. This field must be completed with numbers only
