I bought my SVO in Feburary 1999.  My wife said I was completely insane, but I found this baby on the internet, and flew to Arizona to pick it up, and drive it home.

It served as a daily driver for about 6 months, then it was time to start "fixing" things.  it only took a few hours for it to start looking like this, before it went off to be painted.

Current Status

Compression was reading a bit low, so a winter of rebuild of the engine was in order.I also detailed, sanded, and painted ever part I have removed,  In June, 2001.  It looks like this.

The plan is to have it painted, and ready to drive to the 2001 SVOCA reunion in Trussville, Al.  Putting base/clear on should begin the weekend of July 28, weather permitting.  Re-assembly begins from there.
