Front Park/marker lights and Fog lights INOP
So, the front marker and fog lights are not working, as far as I can tell, maybe they never worked. The car was broken when I bought it. So I spent some time troubleshooting, changed bulbs, checked swithc power, checked the sockets, and found no volatage, then i grounded the socket to the car and got power. It looks like i have a bad ground somewhere. But where to start looking.
I dug out a wirediagram book and found that the fog and marker lights have a common plug, so i started the trace there. It runs inder the VAM, so i removed it. Found that the wire bundle had no conduit on it, and it was smashed by the bottom of the VAM.
It is so flat that i bet this is the soruce of the problem. I ran out of time last night so i did not get it striped open to look , but i'll do that tonight. That will also give me time to install the newly powdercoated air cleaner box and mount bracket.

Found it! I took the harness apart from the VAM area, across the front of the radiator, then removed battery, and tray, took the harness apart there and found the brown wires seperated at the swadge. I redid the splice, and Holy ****!.... and the Ford said let there be Lights!!!!

After fixing the lights, reinstalling the harness and VAM with a powdercoated air cleaner assy, i installed the spats, rocker trim, and the door trim, still need to do the last two body trim parts aft of the rear wheel wells, but i ran out of 3m tape. The car is now road ready. The interior is still stock, so it looks a hundred years old, but that is on hold until next spring, then next fall is the drive train and suspension. This should keep me busy for a couple of years.

2010 Spoiled
I have become so spoiled with the power of the 2010 GT that I now feel the need to add big power to the SVO. The 84 is still so much prettier to me, but she is soooooo under powered. I have budget to redo the engine in almost anyway i like. Only issue is that i cant decide if i want to modifiy it to the naked eye (visible mods that any idiot can spot) or mostly internal with some external stuff that it would take one of the SVO adicted to spot. Having said all that, what have you done or actually seen done that made a 250 to 300 HP svo/turbocoupe? I read a lot of supposed to stuff, but, what actually works? If have missed a previous real world example on the site please dont act a fool and call me names. A simple link will do, PS I'm becoming less and less opposed to doing a 2.5 , but want to know if anyone has actually had success with this.
